Directed Energy Consulting was founded in 2021 by Daryl Hartwell, a Defence program leader with more than two decades of experience in enterprise systems, program assurance and capability delivery.
Daryl holds an MBA from Deakin University and an active NV1 security clearance. His career spans senior advisory roles with leading Australian and international Defence consultancies, where he has led major program delivery, ERP implementations and capability reform across Tier 1 Defence agencies.
The firm reflects his view that good Defence outcomes come from disciplined execution, well-structured teams, and the kind of independent assurance that holds programs accountable to what they promised.
